Since 2004, multimedia students from the University of North Carolina have traveled with professional coaches to distinctive locations to produce a documentary website in a single week.

Immersed in the lives of local communities, students work around the clock on video productions that premiere at a public screening on the final night. The stories are then published online, on websites such as this one, offering an enduring cultural record for the public.
